In fact, a whole lot of candy…Americans purchase nearly 600 million pounds of candy a year for Halloween.  What does that look like?   • 90 million pounds of chocolate candy is sold during Halloween week, more than any other holiday! Beating both, Easter (65M) & Valentine’s Week (48M).
  • Over 10% of ANNUAL candy sales happen the days leading up to Halloween, nearly $2BILLION dollars in sales.
  • Chocolate for the WIN as the preferred choice of sweets with $1.9 billion sold in Halloween candy each year, $1.2 billion was chocolate and $680 million on sugar candy
  • Top seller? Candy Corn! Americans purchase over 20 million pounds of it a year
  • Of all 365 days in the year, the top 5 candy selling days are all in October with the most sales being on October 28th
